Once again VolkerFitzpatrick have turned to Goddards to work with them on another exciting landmark project. Team Leader Adam Stokes and his colleagues are currently working on a large landscape scheme adjacent to the iconic O2 Dome on the Greenwich Peninsula.
the scheme involved the planting of a large number of 60cm girth box headed limes and 70cm cubed planes to frame the new AEG Hotel Access road along with some open-headed 60cm tree around the O2 VIP Parking Area.
We’re also planting hundreds of laurels ranging in height from 1.2m to 3.0m+ along with extensive turfing with ‘EverEdge’ transitions, TechniCable wall wiring, planting of climbers and shrubs and high spec. 24 month maintenance period.
Goddards have produced another stunning new build soft landscape school project! Sarum Academy near Salisbury now boasts new playing fields, a system of water management swales with native wetland planting and extensive architectural beds agains the new build campus. Phase 1 completed at the end of 2013.
Phase 2, infrastructure tree planting, shrubs and herbaceous border set off by sculptural mounds to entrance and car parks will follow in Spring 2014.
Goddards are thrilled to be part of the team at Bolnore Village who have been awarded Gold and Overall Category winner for an Urban Community at the South and South East in Bloom Awards and Silver for the South East Region of Britain in Bloom Awards.
Bolnore Village has an active residents association who have a keen interest in the landscaping. The Goddards maintenacne team at Bolnore worked closely with the residents association for this years entry into the Britain in Bloom awards. With the help of Goddards a group of 100 residents planted over 3000 herbaceous plants over a weekend in April. Goddard’s maintenance staff volunteered thei time in order to oversee and assist the residents in the planting.
Goddards supported and encourage the entrance into the Britain in Boom competition as we feel this team effort helps to stengthen relationships between the residents and the Goddards team as they worked together to make Bolnore Village an award winning environment.
